What do you expect in a business laptop? Obviously, portability, reasonable price tag, up-to-the-minute innards, and superior connectivity options. Hewlett-Packard’s new Compaq 6515b and Compaq 6715b business notebook computers have all these features stuffed.

The 14.1-inch widescreen 6515b and the 15.4-inch widescreen 6715b are configurable with AMD Sempron and Turion processors, including 64-bit dual core Turion X2. Bothe the lappies boast 80GB to160GB hard disk drives, XP Pro to Vista Business, EV-DO or HSDPA 3G connectivity, ATI X1250 graphics, 802.11n WiFi, four USB ports, PC Card slot, and memory card reader.

Other than that, the machines will come with dual-layer DVD burners, including drives with LightScribe technology. The pricing start at $649, which I think will lure a number of customers.
