NEC has just revealed its latest Tablet PC, The 12PNC-W2/B2 (12″) and 15PNC-W2/B2 (15″). Both will be powered by ATOM CPU Z530 @ 1.6GHz, with optional 512MB or 1GB of RAM, 80GB of HDD, and touchscreen LCD. It will also come with optional Windows XP or Vista Operating System. Samsung has just launched another laptop as a contender in the lightweight arena. Samsung X360 weighs at only 2.8-pounds and 0.66-inches thick, seems to want to compete directly with Macbook Air. X360 features Intel Centrino 2 Processor, 128 GB Solid State Drive (SSD), up to 4 GB RAM, built-in HDMI connection, a 34mm express card slot and VGA output. It also comes with integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless connectivity. Samsung claims the laptop can stay up for 10 hours after a single recharge. It will hit shelves around September, costing approximately between $2200 and $3000. [TechDigest]

MSI has recently announced a new model to its line of notebook, the MSI EX300. MSI boasts its athletic fashionable design housing the latest technology underneath. The EX300 features 13.3-inch WXGA display, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD3450 VGA, up to 320GB HDD, up to 4GB of RAM, and a Blu-ray drive. It is also equipped with HDMI output connector for external Hi-Def display and fingerprint reader for enhanced data security. EX300 will be Available in Dazzling Blue or Brilliant Red colors. Dell has just unveiled two new Vostro laptops designed specifically to meet the needs of institutions on limited budgets in the world’s emerging economies. Which means it may not be available in the U.S or Europe at least for the time being. The affordable laptops come in the form of Vostro 14,1″ A840 and 15,6″ A860 model. Both feature optional Celeron to Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 120GB/160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi Connectivity, and DVD Burner. They will also come with choice of Ubuntu® Linux® or Microsoft® Genuine Windows Vista® operating systems. Pricing for the new Vostro products will vary by configuration and country. [Dell]
